You don't need to know that Ultimate Frisbee is now recognized as a potential Olympic sport to appreciate this highlight.
The Philadelphia Spinners of Major League Ultimate completed one crazy scoring play on Sunday against the Boston Whitecaps. After player Nick Hirannet threw a Greatest -- an Ultimate Frisbee term referring to when a player catches a disc out of bounds and throws it back in bounds while still in the air -- the deflected disc eventually landed in the hands of a diving Himalaya Mehta for the goal.
Pretty cool.
Philadelphia eventually won 18-16.
