Police made an unusual discovery after pulling over a car during a recent traffic stop in Chicago: An armed 3-year-old.
Police pulled over the car because they saw children inside that were not either strapped into a car seat or wearing a seat belt, CBS Chicago reports. Inside the car, they discovered that one of those children -- a 3-year-old girl -- was holding a 9mm handgun later found to contain eight live rounds.
Queshawn King, 19, the driver of the car, was charged with unlawful use of a weapon, endangering the life of a child and possession of a firearm without a valid FOID, the Chicago Tribune reports.
According to the Tribune, King was yelling "Fatty, Fatty, Fatty” -- apparently the toddler's nickname -- during the traffic stop.
