WATCH: LED Seesaw Lights Up Melbourne Square

Design group ENESS are based in Melbourne, Australia, so it makes sense that their latest project, an LED seesaw called 'A Tilt Of Light', was installed in their hometown's Federation Square.

Built in honour of the city's The Light In Winter celebrations, it takes the humble playground seesaw and elevates it to something really rather magnificent.

As well as allowing children (and adults) the chance to bounce up and down on a balanced beam, it also acts as a fun-filled physics lesson, with the LED-filled bar 'bouncing' light back and forth according to different settings.

Users can see how a "ping pong ball might bounce on the moon, or how a balloon might wade through yogurt" says the official press release. It's all about picking the atmosphere surrounding your object, be it air, water, space or what have you, and you'll be able to see how the light is affected by it.

But you'll have to be quick to see the magic for yourself, as the installation is only going to stick around until July 1 - so book those plane tickets quick, seesaw fans!
