SHE'S STUCK: This Woman Can't Get Her Hand Out Of The Pool Table

It's one thing to get stuck at a bar, and another to get stuck in the pool table.

That's what happened to a woman in San Diego recently, when she attempted to grab a ball in a pool table. Firefighters said her hand became stuck because of the bracelets she was wearing, 10News.com reported.

I don't know if she was going for an engagement ring or what, but she put her arm all the way in," Sharon Rangel, a bartender at the U-31 Bar and Cocktail Lounge, told 10News.com.

Firefighters were called to the scene around 1:45 a.m. and had to cut out a portion of the bottom of the pool table before the woman could be freed. The rescue took about 15 minutes.

Authorities said the victim walked away unharmed -- except for the embarrassment.

Bar manager David Woods told NBC 7 San Diego that the pool table is still functional thanks to the careful rescue work by firefighters.

But the woman who got stuck in a pool table isn't the only person who had to be rescued by firefighters after getting behind the eight ball.

Vincent Luciano of Lincoln, Neb., recently had to be rescued after getting stuck in a tree trying to hook up a swing for this daughter, RightThisMinute.com reported.

And last month, a 17-year-old boy in National City, Calif., needed the help of firefighters when he got his hand stuck in a soda machine while allegedly attempting to steal a Coke.
