The White House Twitter page offered its followers a sweet treat on Thursday, wishing them a "Happy Pi Day" and sharing a picture of President Barack Obama and a kid with a mouthful of pie. Pi Day commemorates March 14, 3/14, or 3.14, the simplified value of pi. It is frequently celebrated by doing math problems or eating delicious pie.
