Would you ever eat roadkill? There's a growing number of roadkill cookbooks on the market, but UK police are telling people not to make roadkill cuisine -- especially after a UK surgeon recently offered some tips to the The Telegraph .
"[Hunt's] announcement has prompted a warning from police who said that eating roadkill can put people at risk of poisoning."
Dr. Austin Hunt told the newspaper that he's a fan of wild venison tenderloin (aka deer roadkill) and also has a thing for badger curry. He even butchered a badger in front of his children recently -- the lucky darlings:
"For some days, thick black bristles were still turning up on the kitchen surfaces - much to the fury of my vegetarian wife," Hunt told The Telegraph.
I'm not opposed to eating weird foods -- I ate tarantula, worms, and camel last week -- but I just can't get on board with the badger (poor Bucky).
