Burnt Mac And Cheese Forces Iowa Capitol Evacuation

Things got dangerously cheesy at the Iowa state capitol on Monday, after a burned serving of Kraft Easy Mac forced an evacuation from the building.

The lunch disaster set off smoke alarms near the Senate chamber around 11 a.m. local time, according to the Des Moines Register. The evacuation order was lifted soon, and everyone was allowed to return inside.

No word yet if the guilty lawmaker or staffer is too ashamed to show their face again, but we recommend they up their lunch game with these recipes, which are less easy but more mac.
