Thousands of users on Facebook -- the world's premier bastion for intelligent discourse and the only way to convert "likes" into prayers -- have rallied around another important cause: a dog with ham on its face.
On Dec. 23, Stephen Roseman posted a picture of a dog with a strip of deli meat strewn across its snout. In the caption, Roseman said the dog had been "badly burned and disfigured trying to save his family from a house fire."
The caption, of course, was fake. It's just ham.
Trigger warning: The below photo shows a dog with ham on its face.
Despite the obvious trolling, thousands of the Internet's finest came out to show their support for what they thought was an injured pup. And in true Facebook fashion, these brave warriors of change made sure to do the least amount of work possible for what they believed was a worthy cause.
We only hope the Lord has listened to their shares prayers.
