Detroit Pistons center Andre Drummond doesn't actually need your vote to start in the 2016 NBA All-Star game. He tops all Eastern Conference centers in votes so far. But his organization really, really deserves it, especially after today.
On Tuesday morning, the Detroit Pistons Twitter account dropped a Drummond-themed supercut of President Barack Obama rapping "Jumpman," one of the standout cuts from Drake and Future's collab album "What A Time To Be Alive." The result: An amazing video that we didn't know we needed until right now.
Watching an animated Obama, a known basketball junkie and occasional hip-hop head, rap Drake and Future's lyrics while Drummond does Drummond things, well, there's no superlative that this millennial writer can conjure to express how much joy this will bring to anyone tuned into the large Obama-NBA-Drake-Future convergence culture nexus. (Trust me, it's a thing.)
So thank you Pistons Twitter. Them boys up to something.
